As an apprentice mechanical engineer, you will work towards becoming a skilled CNC machinist.
During your apprenticeship you will be involved in highly-skilled, complex and precision work. To help you develop your overall skill set, you will experience all our machining areas and will spend time in our assembly and inspection departments.
You will learn to machine components from specialist materials using conventional and CNC machine tools such as lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines and multi-axis CNC machining centres.

►Apprenticeship: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
►Duration: 4 years
►Entry requirements: A minimum of 4 GCSE’s at Grade 5 with a preference of Grade 6 in Maths, English and Science.
►Location: Simonstone, Lancashire
(First year is spent at a selected training provider off site).
►Hours of work: 38 hours per week
►Starting salary: Competitive Apprentice Salary
►Qualifications on completion: Level 3 Diploma and a HNC.
