As an apprentice mechatronic technician, you will be trained in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.

During your apprenticeship you will work with our skilled maintenance team to make sure that our plant and machinery perform efficiently so that the factory can achieve its production targets regarding safety, quality, delivery time and cost.

This role is very diverse, you will learn to apply a complex range of skills to carry out the installation, testing, fault-finding and planned maintenance of complicated and automated machinery.

►Apprenticeship: Level 3 Engineering Manufacturing in Maintenance – Mechatronics

►Expected duration: 4 years
►Entry requireme­nts: A minimum of 4 GCSE’s at Grade 5 with a preference of Grade 6 in Maths, English and Science.
►Location: Simonstone, Lancashire
(First year is spent at a selected agreed training provider, off site).
►Hours of work: 38 hours per week
►Starting salary: Competitive Apprentice Salary
►Qualifications on completion: Level 3 Diploma and a HNC.
