As an apprentice toolmaker you will be trained to produce precision tools and workholding devices.
During your apprenticeship you will learn how to manufacture and assemble new tooling and how to re-furbish worn tooling. The tools you will make are used to cut, shape and form metals and other materials to manufacture our range of products.
You will become skilled, not only in conventional milling, turning, grinding and assembly. You will develop skills in programming, setting and operation our state of the art CNC multi axis machining centres.

►Apprenticeship: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Toolmaking
►Expected duration: 4 years
►Entry requirements: A minimum of 4 GCSE’s at Grade 5 with a preference of Grade 6 in Maths, English and Science.
►Location: Simonstone, Lacashire
(First year is spent at a selected training provider, off site).
►Hours of work: 38 hours per week
►Starting salary: Competitive Apprentice Salary
►Qualifications on completion: Level 3 Diploma and a HNC.
